GVI's commercial grade Teflon tape meets MlL-T-27730A, is U.S. Bureau of Ships approved, NASA approved and UL approved for use on gas service. Commercial grade Teflon tape has a density of 0.80. Our high density Teflon tape has a density of 1.00 to 1.20 and has all the approvals that our commercial grade Teflon tape has plus it is ideal for use on stainless steel.
