GVI distributes Sandvik, the finest hand hack saw blades made. Our Bi-metal blades have a tooth line of high-alloy, high-speed steel that is electron beam-welded in a high vacuum to a backing of tough alloy tool steel. This combines the high cutting power and wear resistance of an all-hard high-speed steel blade with a degree of flexibility that is vastly superior to that of edge-hardened or conventional flexible blades. These blades are provided with an anti-corrosion finish.
