GVI's thin wall heat shrink tubing is manufactured from irradiated flexible polyolefin. This 600 volt insulating material is mechanically tough, will not cold flow, never melts and will not split when shrunk over sharp or irregularly shaped objects. The shrink ratio is 2 to 1 and the shrink temperature is 121°C for the "HSKR" material and 90°C for the "HSTW" material. Our HSTW is a UL approved insulating material (UL style 224) which has a VW-1 Class 1 rating.
